A Jewish Outdoor Activity & Recreation Program
SATURDAY JULY 11th – 3:30pm
Noah’s Ark Animal Scavenger Hunt at the Franklin Park Zoo with Rabbi Fred “Noah” Benjamin – Saturday Afternoon July 11th from 3:30 – 5:15. Discount cost with advanced registration/payment by July 7th - $12/adult, $6/child (children under 2 are free). RSVP to Office@TempleShalomOnline.org. This option is especially appropriate for those who do not wish to spend $$ on Shabbat. Cost for those who show up that day, $13/adult, $7/child (children under 2 are free). Franklin Park Zoo members free. Bring your own snacks and water.

Moonlight Guided Canoe & Kayak Trip on the Charles River (Adults ONLY) with Havdallah and Nosh with Rabbi Fred “Oar Chadash” Benjamin - Saturday night, July 18th, 9:15 - 10:45PM (Almost a full moon!). Charles River Canoe & Kayak, Newton, MA location. MAX - 40 PEOPLE. Registration in advance required. RSVP to Office@TempleShalomOnline.org by July 14th – $25/pp. Until July 16th: $30/pp. No experience necessary. The Charles at the Newton location is calm with little to no wind. Guided Family Nature Walk & Jerusalem Art Project led by Rabbi Fred “Walden” Benjamin followed by Bring Your Own Shabbat Dinner Picnic at Houghton’s Pond – Friday July 24th 6:30 – 8:00pm. Challah & Kosher Grape juice provided.
This event is FREE for Temple Shalom members & their guests. For non-members it it $3/family with advanced RSVP and $5/family if you show up that day. RSVP by July 21st to Office@TempleShalomOnline.org.

Benjamin, Quincy – Sunday, August 23rd, 10:30 – 1:00pm in
association with the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston - South.
Come
help uncover & discover the Ancient Mountain Fortress of Massada!
Find coins, pottery, mosaic tiles and more!! Specific child
age-appropriate areas will be designated for this program. Shovels,
buckets and sifters provided. Please bring your lunch, drink and
blanket to enjoy the day! RSVP by Aug 19th - $2/child - pay when
you arrive. Show up that day without RSVP - $3/child. This event is
