Nancy
Mollitor has been actively involved in Jewish education for close to 15
years. For the past 14 years, she has been teaching at Temple Beth
David in Westwood. She has also been a Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutor there for
over 7 years. She continues working at Temple Beth David part
time. She was also an administrator and teacher for over 10 years
for the Sharon Family Chavurah in Sharon MA. For several years, she was
the leader of the children’s Shabbat morning program at Temple
Israel in Sharon and then was promoted to director of that program, a
position she held for 3 years. She is a graduate of Syracuse University
receiving a BS in Biology.
Nancy still remains active in her own continuing Jewish education. She took ulpan (conversational Hebrew classes) for 4 years; participated in an 18 month program at Brandeis called MTEI (Mandel Teachers Educational Institute), completed Me’ah (a two year Adult Jewish Learning Program) and regularly attends CAJE (Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education) summer conferences.
Nancy
lives with her husband, Al, in Sharon MA. They have a daughter,
Jacqueline, 26, who is currently working as a social worker in San
Francisco and a son, David, 23, who is working as a computer scientist
in Maryland.
